Skipping of NON-Holiday Episodes

Why is it that certain episode of a particular season in syndication is skipped and then when that season is aired again a different ep is skipped? And why are no Cosby Show eps ever skipped?-LOL

probably because of the amount of airplays allowed is more than likely why they do this :)

from what I heard, it's because of a few reasons. Maybe the network or station could only get the rites to air certain episodes, or maybe they only have the rites for a limited time or, in the case of N@N and TV LAND, they're holding back certain episodes so they can air them during a marathon or something.
