that is AWESOME!!:D My favorite TV show is finally coming to DVD and the cover art just makes me more excited. I can't wait for this release. And just think, if it's a big seller as I predict and hope it will be, Buena Vista will probably release season 2 as quickly as they did BMW season two.

Not my top fave cover art, but it looks great! I'm looking forward to the release. :)

Aren't we just a tiny bit early for the "20th anniversary"?

I don't think that's part of the cover, I think TVSHOWSONDVD.com added the 20th anniversary

No, www.tvshowsondvd.com did not put that 20th anniversary on it. That was there from the beginning. It is a bit early for the anniversary but it is fast approaching, and since Bueno Vista anticipates that the shelf life of this DVD set will last well past the 20th anniversary, it's being sold as such. Hey, whatever helps the sales, no?

As for me, I'm curious as to what the backing art looks like. Hopefully it's a collage from Season 1 and not random pics from all seasons. I like pics to reflect that particular season's set and not the whole show. Makes the package less generic for me, but at this rate, I'll take anything I can get.

I'm confused... but surprise, surprise.

The red "20th Anniversary" is NOT on the actual package. You can go to Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002W4SX6/qid=1098380892/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-4226586-1771050?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) and look at it, and the red tag is not there.

I didn't think it was, tvshowsondvd.com did that, to show the anniversary was coming up.

Again, www.tvshowsondvd.com didn't put that there. The pic (along with the news) was given to them by Bueno Vista. They just report the news; they don't embellish it. I think BV will play up the anniversary thing (though it's a bit early) to drum up more sales for the set. Hey, if it works, it's better for us. More money made on these things guarantees more season sets. That makes me smile...

Sorry but I think they did put it there, why wouldn't it be on the cover at amazon.com?

Heck they had the wrong cover for Boy Meets World Season 2, and had added a little red thing to that like TGG cover has.

The wrong cover was given to them as well. Lots of times DVD companies send out prototypes of DVD covers to whoever will showcase them.

www.tvshowsondvd.com is such a site that showcases these things.

BV did up preliminary scans of the GG DVD covers and sent them out with that anniversary blurb.

BV also sent out preliminary scans of the Boy Meets World DVD set. Preliminary covers are always subject to change, but www.tvshowsondvd.com, being set up to inform fans of the slightest bit of news, posts these preliminaries in an effort of informing fans. They don't take it upon themselves to add to the covers or advertise them in such a way. They're only set up to inform, not to take part in advertising.
