interested in just the shows or the actors and their lives

I have a theory that guys are more interested in talking about the content of shows and movies rather than the actors and their personal lives, while women are much more interested in the personal lives of the actors. As a male, I don't really care to follow the personal situations of the actors. They just don't interest me. Things like who is married to whom, who is dating whom, how many kids he or she has are things that I just find boring. Are there any women who feel this way and any men who are fascinated by behind the scenes personal stories?

I'm a girl too and I watch the shows for the content not for the actors/actresses, but I do like to find out what's going on with them every once in awhile :)

I usualyy watch for the content...but if there happens to be a hot guy on the show then I'll likely start watching more and more to see the actor...and chances are I'll be looking them up on the internet.
