i was watching the episode Saturday and Bill Pentland is in it as Freddy Meeker but in the opening credits Roseanne is credited as Roseanne Arnold and thena couple episodes later in the credits it says written by Bill Pentland. So did Roseanne and Bill stay friends after they got devoriced(dont know how to spell)?

Roseanne didn't divorce Bill until around 1989 and also when Roseanne went into syndication she changed the first 4 seasons from Roseanne Barr to Roseanne Arnold.

but yes, Roseanne and Bill were still (kinda) friends after their divorce.

Bill works as Rosie's handyman and his wife Becky is her personal assistant. He used to post every one on a while on her message board and they seemed to still be very close. Becky posted all the time, like Roseanne did. I really miss that message board and having that contact with Rosie. it's really strange that think that I actually wrote to Roseanne on her message board and she responded (several times). It's just surreal because the vast majority of celebs aren't like that at all and it's also ironic because of the rep that she has, that she's so great to her fans.

Roseanne's worked through alot of personal problems in the last few years and has made peace with her past.
