I've never heard of them, but I do recalled the song "The Honeymooners' Rap" by Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphy.:)

I'm not sure of the one you are mentioning, but there is a cd for sale that used to be a lp. It's called "And Awaaay We Go!". You can find it at walmart.com.

Would you by any chance be thinking about an LP from 1985 called It's Honeymooners Time, released on the Murray Hill label? That contained "It's Honeymooner Time" by Jesse Goldberg; recordings from Art Carney ("Song Of The Sewer," "Va Va Va Voom" and, I.I.N.M., "Sheesh, What A Grouch!"), Audrey & Jayne Meadows ("Dear Ralph" - don't worry, the song is not a reference to Ralph Kramden), and Jackie Gleason's orchestra ("You're My Greatest Love," from his 1955 Music To Change Her Mind album, Capitol W-632, and the version of "Melancholy Serenade" as on his 1960 Opiate D'Amour LP; not to mention his "One Of These Days - Pow!"); Stan Freberg's parody "The Honey-earthers"; and a number called "I Want A Wife Like Alice Kramden." Regrettably, Mr. Piscopo's "Honeymooners Rap" was not included in this compilation.

As for And Awa-a-ay We Go: It was simply Mr. Gleason, doing different songs representing his gallery of characters, Ralph included. The LP was 10".
