does anyone think that SFU has really returned from the abyss this season? season 3 was rather boring and the Lisa storyline drug on too long, and the first part of this season wasn't so hot either, but ever since the hitchhiker episode, this show has returned to the quality of what made season 1 so great.

I agree the Lisa story was very boring and dragged out.
Last week was great. David is really spiraling towards a nervous breakdown. Keith and Michelle T. that was interesting. George and Ruth that storyline is getting good too. I loved Vanessa and her sister fighting with Rico's girlfriend, that was funny. I felt so sorry for Brenda's boyfriend, he forgave her and she still wants to destroy that relationship.
Looking forward to this weeks episode.

It was during last week's episode that I remembered that both Michelle T and Mathew St. Patrick used to be on All My Children, I don't remember if they had any scenes together or if they were even on during the same years, but they probably know each other from AMC. I still can't get over that that's the little girl from AMC and Pete & Pete.
Anyway, as for the show, where've you been BuffySlayer? We've had discussions about some of the episodes and you didn't join in. I've liked this season, I definitely get the sense they've made a concerted effort to have more focus on David than Nate. It was always Nate and Brenda or Nate and Lisa, but Nate seems to be the back burner character with David and Rico being the front burner storylines this season.
With Mena Suvari's character, they're fulfilling that "weird/irritating character" quota they also seem to use (Lisa's bitchy boss, Claire's art teacher, Brenda's brother Billy). Even George is a bit off. I keep waiting for some normal people to enter the Fishers' lives. But yes, I've enjoyed this season's episodes so far, with the "That's My Dog" episode being the best of the entire series.

very funny, but strange.
Michelle also played Buffy's sister Dawn on the last three seasons of BTVS (her likeness is actually on the season 5 box set cover)... and she also was on AMC around the same time Sarah Michelle Gellar was on that as well. I guess Michelle used friendships she struck with people she co-starred with in the day to get her these jobs because I think she's a grating actress. To this day I wish Buffy would've let Dawn die at the end of season 5 instead of sacrificing herself instead, lol.

I usually don't frequent the drama boards as often, and when I do, it's usually Charmed or Buffy's boards, because I remembered it was dead here back when I used to check, but now I'll be posting more often.

Oh I forgot one thing, the guy who drove himself to his own funeral and Rico was crying that was great.
Oh and I agree Mena Suvari, is the most annoying person.
