Male Bashing

This bothered me in this show. The Women were above the men in every way. Sondra would boss Elvin around, Rudy would boss Kenny around, Grunty the witch would beat down on Cliff, Theo would always be messing up with his girlfriends. UGH!!! IT'S DISGUSTING!! Here is a quote from Rudy

Rudy: Women can do anything that men can do. Only better!

In that one episode where Sondra and Elvin went over for dinner. Those porr men were so beaten down. It wasn't even funny. I'm suprised that the women didn't snap their fingers and the men came running to the kitchen. I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Episode #28 - Cliff In Love
Oh my God Clair acted as though she wanted to do some bodily harm to Elvin. Grant it Elvin was being a total idiot with his comments about women and his position on their roles. Clair came off as though she was holier than thou when she went off on Elvin.

Episode #33 - Clair's Sister
The attacks that Clair and her mom did about men was an outrage. Again, it came off as they are holier than thou.

The Kenny and Rudy relationship was too nerving to listen to especially when a child tells another child, "You have to earn my love."

The men on the show definitely was being browbeated a lot.

That's what wives do, when you're talking about Cliff & Clair and Elvin & Sondra. As for Rudy and Kenny, Rudy was like that b/c Kenny was always saying how women should just stick to doing chores around the house. Kenny started all that stuff about how men are better than women, and Rudy was just sticking up for herself.
