Well, I went into the TV Land website and sent them an e-mail, in essence bitching them out for moving DVD out of prime-time. I mentioned that I as all settled in to watch DVD at 9PM (EDT) this summer as an alternative to network reruns, but what do I get ... "The Love Boat"? I said that if there was ever a show that DOESN'T have re-watchability, it's "The Love Boat". They probably never read their e-mails, so it was probably a waste of time.

If we all send an email to TV Land and tell them that we want DVD back in Primetime, it will help more than if just one person does. The email address that is on their website is postmaster@tvland.com Maybe they will listen if they hear from all of us.

Hi all,
If 9:00 a.m. & 1:30 a.m. are not convenient viewing times for you, why not set your VCR to record the show? It would probably take less time than visiting a web site and writing up and sending a detailed bitchy e-mail. Plus, you'd then be able to watch the show at *any* time you feel like watching it, not just 9:00 p.m.

Yes, but even if you do set your VCR you still get commercials and I know you'd get them if you watched the show at it's regular time but the reasons I tape the show are so I can watch it and so I don't have to worry about commercials.

I usually tape them, but last night I was watching a movie, and when it was over, my vcr wouldn't give me my tape back. So I hafta get it fixed, so now I can't watch them for awhile. I was ready to chuck my vcr out the window last night!! I just hope that I can stay up til one every night and watch it!

You could always get up early and watch it then. That's what I do since I'm up anyway.

I have class at 9am so I'm lucky. I have an excuse to be up that early. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to see it either.

MtM fan,
I know what you mean about the commercials. I'm the same way. I guess there's no other solution, then.
Marta,
Not a morning person, eh? If you're able, and not too busy, maybe you can catch the 1:30 a.m. DVD.

art,
Thought about it, but then I wouldn't be able to get up at 11 to watch I Love Lucy on NBC, hehe! And no, I'm definitely NOT a morning person!! lol!!!! I'm still trying to decide about staying up to watch it, because I do like mtm and dvd better than I Love Lucy, but it's a very hard decision for me, hehe. Did anyone watch mtm and dvd this morning? If so, are they both episodes worth staying up for?? And did anyone happen to cath mtm on Lary King Live, I thought that she did a very nice interview. I was going to call, but I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to talk because I'd just be all tongue tied. Well, nice talking to ya'll!!! hehe!!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Marta,
I would choose the Petries over Lucy, any day, myself.
I'm a night person . . . not by choice, however. At night, when I should be sleeping, I'm wide awake. Meanwhile, in the morning, when I'm supposed to be awake, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. If I'm ever lucky enough to get through the 9:00 a.m. DVD, I have to go right back to sleep immediately afterwards. Naturally, the 1:30 a.m. DVD is no problem for me.
I, too, saw Mary on Larry King and thought about calling . . . until I realized I would have just sounded like a moron, saying something like "Hum-in-a, hum-in-a. Duh boo a babba . . . " I wouldn't know what to say to her, or ask her, if she were sitting here right next to me.

Art,
That's EXACTLY how I felt about calling Mary, I want to meet her, but I could never know what to say to her. I just wish I had more courage! haha!! I couln't believe how comfortable the people that *did* call were talking to her!! hehe!! See ya all later!
