Just For Me: Angela's Song

*Hey guys! I wrote this today, and it started out as a poem, but then I saw Judith singing it, maybe as the opening of a reunion or something. It's about her relationship with Tony and how it goes from the knocking on the door to... well... the knocking on the door! It's called "Just For Me: Angela's Song"*


I opened the door, he was standing there
A handsome man with dark brown hair
The look in his eye, the smile on his face
Looking at me, wearing satin and lace

A couple of years, being just friends
Wonder if this is where it all ends
A cup of coffee, a cup of tea
Why couldn't he just say he loved me?

He walked into my life
He walked into my heart
He walked just like the rain falls
Softly, but sweetly, just for me

Friendship changed, you know it's true
It was a hidden love, so far overdue
He told me he loved me, I said I love you
Now what was left was to say I do

Up in the country, out in the field
One chance left for love to be healed
A love was lost, we were no more
Until he came and knocked on my door

I dunno. Wouldn't it be awesome if she like, took it and made up a tune and recorded it a capella on a tape and sent it to me?

I wrote the lyrics, and I have a tune to it, but yeah. It took me like, 2 hours to write out Tony and Angela's relationship into 2 minutes.

I do sing, and I wrote it because I really love the connection between Tony and Angela and how their relationship comes about, and how it ends, then comes again. It was just a good circle for a song, since I could begin it with the door and end it with the door. Which, that might be a more apparent thing to non-WTB? fans if I called the song "The Door: Angela's Song" LoL!

lol. well its a really good song! and i think that its awesome how they ended wtb? with tony coming to the door, like it began. it was so freaking sweet!:)

hey guys! i rewrote "Just For Me" and renamed it... here it is. tell me which one you like better. this one also has a more upbeat tune (in my head!)

personally i think they were both great! but if i had to choose. i like the first one the best!!:)
