My pick for the most bizarre episode ever is the episode of Too Close for Comfort where Monroe gets raped by these two very large women. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that episode. What are your picks for most bizarre episodes ever?

I nominate "Welcome Aboard" on The Brady Bunch. While I did not mind the addition of Cousin Oliver :D , I thought the pie scene at the end was very uncharacteristic of The Brady Bunch. (No wonder Robert Reed refused to appear in it! )

Monroe got raped???? That IS bizarre. The oddest ones I recall were from The Cosby Show. The one where the men were pregnant and gave birth to the sandwich, boat etc was just the strangest thing. Also the one where they did like a takeoff on a musical and were singing "there is trouble in the Huxtable house tonight" was a very strange episode.

Definitely "The Cosby Show" mentioned above... that was weird
Also "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" episode called "Mary's Three Husbands" was weird for a show like TMTMS

the "Titanic" episode of Newsradio - i think it was Phil Hartman's last on the show, and it was quite prophetic....

Anybody see "Roseambo" ? By far, without exception, the most bizarre episode of a tv sitcom ever aired.
In it, Roseanne battles terrorists on a train they highjacked. At one point, she dispatches a guy by shooting a tampon at him, and Jackie calls her "The ultimate in feminine protection."
To top it all off, Steven Segal makes an appearance in the closing scene. He tells Rosie that violence is never the answer, btu she sure is awesome. She responds, looking at the camera "Yeah, what he said."
OMG.

I'll second that, especially for My Mother the Car and Cop Rock.

Yep, 13. I'm not sure they all aired, though.

I don't even know why I remember it..... I was about 11 or 12 when it came on.
I just remember there was a military parade and a little kid's remote control truck set off a nuclear war. One the the main characters survived because he was in his Volvo, another because she was in the basement of her book store.
Wow, what a crappy show!

I liked Whoops!
I thought an episode of Two and a Half Men where Charlie gets taken by a coven of witches was pretty bizarre.

In Diff'rent Strokes, where Arnold dreams that he is in a video game world. That was werid...it was almost too Tron-like. So much for the 5th Season start episode, Shoot-Out at the O.K. Arcade.
The episode in FOL where there was an Alice in Wonderland tea party.

Another bizzare episode was I don't know if this has been posted but the episode of roseanne where roseanne wants to take a bath and she falls asleep and ends up having a dream of a perfect bath she "kills" her family in this episode.

The Cosby Show: Cliff's Nightmare, featuring Gonzo the Great, Sweetums the monster, Dr. Bunson Honeydew and the Muppets. One time where Bill Cosby and the late Jim Henson worked together.

Is that actually what happened in that episode? I haven't seen it in years but I seem to recall one woman trying to bed him...I thought she was a hooker. I guess maybe my memory is failing me here.

Doh! You just beat me to this one. It was an episode they did at the time Haley's Comet came around again (1985) and it was the theme of the episode. Kraus dreams the comet hits Earth and she and Benson are the last remaining survivors. It's called "Last Man on Earth" and yes, it's definitely bizarre.

I'm shocked no one mentioned the Mork & Mindy ep where Mork shrinks and ends up in some alternate universe. It's been years since I saw that one, and the thing I remember most is Pam Dawber screaming and sobbing.

I know it's not exactly a sitcom, but I was watching the season 2 Felicity DVDs today and this episode came on called "Help for the Lovelorn," which was this bizarre, supernatural, black and white, twilight zone-esque episode. I was literally just like WTF is this.....

Good ol' Bill, working an episode around his friends, and it was HORRIBLE!

 Either I missed that episode or blocked it out. Sounds horrible. Much as I love the Muppets, it sounds like the result of someone's bad acid trip. *shudders*

Cosby Show gets my vote for bizarrest episode which featured the guys being pregnant and giving birth to submarine sandwiches. It was a pointless episode.
