Hi everyone. Lately I've been thinking of ways to get some new discussions going on here. This is one idea. Admittedly I can only start off with just a few but hopefully some of you out there can add to the list.

-Son of Sam
-1950 Nebraska church explosion
-1991 Henderson, NV bank robbery
-Reunion of a fomer solider with another former soldier who saved his life in Vietnam

I know the clip was removed from the fan site a long time ago but I still have the intro from a January 1991 episode saved on my computer. I wonder if anyone else does and can tell me something about the following clips:

-Police car chasing a van through what appears to be a gas station or a tollbooth
-Two shadowy figures dumping a body off of a bridge in twilight
-A woman wearing sunglasses shot while sitting in her car (done in slow motion)

What more can you come up with?

I think the first clip is from that story about the banker who was abducted from his home, forced to help rob his own bank, then tied to a chair, and thrown from a bridge while still alive. Sorry, I'm no good with names. I'm sure someone on here knows. I've seen the story discussed before. I think this was eventually solved.

The second clip is from a story about a woman who was shot in the face one day while driving to work. Once again, I don't know names. I do remember that the shooter drove a black Dodge pickup. The woman was driving down a more or less deserted stretch of road (I think she was using it as a short cut), and the assailant was driving the truck in front of her. He suddenly stopped, gut out of the truck and shot her. I also remember one of the investigators saying he was puzzled, as the woman had no known enemies, and a motive couldn't be established. Still unsolved to my knowledge.

Hope this helps.

Justin

Names or no names, I love reading about cases I've never seen. Thanks.

EDIT: Watching the video again, it does appear that the man being thrown off the bridge is tied to a chair. I think you're right, and I have seen that case mentioned here a couple of times.

The man who was thrown from a bridge tied to a chair (who may have still been alive) was named Dan Short. He was the president of a bank in Noel, Missouri. (Yet another case my grandparents told me about that I would later see on UM.) He was thrown into Grand Lake in Oklahoma. Turns out I'm going to both places the first week in August!

Noel's a really pretty town, but now it's eerie for me to go through there knowing what happened.
