I agree with 2-5, but thunderstorms kick ass. Especially when it cancels work that day when you really need a day off.

I like them as long as we don't get tornados with the thunderstorms.

I hate the heat with a passion, and I hate that my husband stares at the Red Sox games all season, but what can a gal do?

I like spring, fall and even winter, but I hate the summer.

You even like New England winters, Janice?

Actually, I do like it here in MA during the wintertime. I just wish it wasn't as long.

They can be brutal, but if I'm home, I like a little snow. I don't love the winters here, but I'll take them over the summers. Our summers have gotten so much hotter over the last few years.

I agree, I love thunderstorms.
They're the ONLY thing I like about Syracuse Weather.

In fact, Syracuse NY is the "bad weather capital" of the world. We don't have the worst storms, or the worst snow -- but we surely have the worst weather patterns.

The movie "Snow Day" was based in Syracuse (although not filmed here).... and the scene where the kid shovels the whale in the snow is at HHS, my highschool -- or suppossedly my highschool)

Just wait until you have to work during the summer, summer won't be that fun. Take advantage of your teenage years while you can.

This is what I think of summer: :mooner:!

I hate heat. I hate humidity. I hate sun. Anything over 65º is too warm for me. I prefer anything between 45-60 degrees. Warm enough not to wear a jacket, but cool enough so you can wear a light sweater. I can say right now that Im ready for a Nor'Easter.

I hate bugs. Spiders, crickets... moths . I swear to God there was a life-size moth outside the window last week when I was watching TV. Seriously, this thing was larger than life. I honestly thought it was a bat flapping outside, but when I looked out the window that was right next to me and saw it was this moth, I thought I was going to crap my pants. I have never seen anything like it before.

Not to mention once the weather gets warm, all my squirrel and chipmunk buddies come out. God, I hate it. I wish there was a shield that would keep them off the road. I confess, Im a break-slammer or a swerver. But only if theres no one around me, or coming the other way- I make sure to look. But I will try and do whatever it takes to avoid them. I swear Im going to give myself a heart attack one of these days the way I worry about them.

Negatives of Summer
1. Hate Hot Weather
2. Bugs, Spiders

4. Dry weather
5. No NFL
6. Sinuses are worse than they are in any kind of weather
7. Fearful of Butterflies(Don't ask how and why)
8. Not a big beach fan like I was as a child

Positives of Summer
1. Watermelon
2. Fireworks
3. Go swimming in my pool

Yeah, I took a look and saw what date is your BD. I'm August 30th. That's an awesome tattoo I bet! I don't read horoscopes or anything, but I think the signs are interesting. I act pretty much like a typical virgo.

August Leos are BETTER. Face it. :p I'd say all Leos are better, but I don't really dig July Leos all that much. Posers.

I'm indifferent on summer. I hate it because of the fact that there's never anything to do (When you have a 12 hour job, weekends included) and there's no school to keep my busy with architecture projects and such. However, I love the warm weather, and the fact that there's no humidity makes it perfect. You can sit under a tree and it's about 20 degrees cooler. Plus, nights are so cool and crisp. When it drops down to the low 70's from the low 100's, believe me, it's cold.

Our family has a lot of birthdays in July. My cousin had a baby on July 4, 2002. My great-grandmother who died a few years ago was born in Mid-July. My aunt's birthday is July 23rd, mine is July 24th, my uncle's is July 25th and my sister's is July 27th.

Whew... I have a headache.

My aunt was born on August 10th. I was born on August 13th, and my cousin was born on August 16th. That's a busy week for us for birthdays.

Also, 13 is a recurring number in my family. My brother was born on July 13th, and my great-grandmother was born on April 13th. She died in 1997 though, at 92. She was born in 1905, the first member of my family to be born in America. I was the second one, a mere 80 years later, in 1985.

Well, since we're all on the subject of birthdays, a lot of people in my family are born on or born around some type of holiday.

Im April 1st- April Fools. My nephew is Valentines Day, my bro is 3 days before Christmas, my Dad is 5 days before Halloween, my sis in law is 5 days after Valentines Day, my mothers is the 22nd of January.. whats that around? Presidents Day? My grandfather is a couple days before Memorial Day, my grandmother was a day after St. Patricks Day aaaaand I think thats it. None of us birthdays in the summer. It starts in the end of October and goes heavily through April, then one more in May.

The Reasonss why I Hate the Summer Time.

1. The cloudy weather; June is the cloudiest month for Coastal California..

2. The San Diego Fair

3. Tourists (sorry)

4. The crowded beaches

5. The Crowded Freeways; hey, our freeways are bad enough, but the summer time is a lot worse...
