It's "I Can't Help It" but he sings it with Olivia Newton John. I liked it better when he did it solo on the show.

The version Andy did on the piano was great... and yes, it's way better than the original. Though nothing beats andy's classic "Shadow Dancing"!!! Ha ha!!! What a star he was back in the day!

Mandie,

Oh, Gosh! How I've searched for this song!!!

I'm from Brazil and am 25 years old now. Punky Brewster used to be shown on TV, here in my country, when I was 8 years old. I remember that episode with Andy Gibb and I never forgot that song he played on that piano. I can still hear his voice singing that song today, in my mind. I loved that song. I have that scene in my mind until today, and I mean it, since 1988, I've never seen that episode again.

It took me 17 years to find out the name of that song, for I hadn't any resources before, and now I thank you, Mandie, for that. This is one of the reasons I like internet very much! :)

Hugs for you. :)

Well Bruno make sure you buy the Punky Season 1 dvd as it has that episode and another one starring Andy Gibb, both restored to perfect condition.

I've actually become a big Andy Gibb fan and have just collected all 5 of his cd's... worth buying if you're into late 70's pop.
