What did you think of it? Was it everything you expected?

I'm counting the minutes. I think Tony B. is going down tonight. That's about my only prediction. I'm wondering about that Adriana returns rumor too.
Love your avatar Brian. :)

I gotta tell you, it was a little anti-climatic. Tony kills his cousin only to have the Feds take down the NY crime family. So in essence, Tony didn't have to kill his cousin after all. I hope this isn't the last we see of Johnny Sack. He was such a great character.

I was kinda disappointed, I was expecting more. Although, I'm glad to be wrong about Chris getting whacked. I miss Adrianna.
Carmela's kidding herself if she thinks A.J's gonna go to East Stroudsburg or any college for that matter. I don't believe, for a minute that comment that Carmela made about not letting the kid sponge off her and Tony. She's too soft on him.
One thing that surprised me was that Tony didn't lose his temper with Silvio in the office scene at the Bing.

It move so quickly for me it seemed like a half an hour. I was surprise that Tony whacked Tony B. but somebody had to to it! He got beside himself when to started wacking N.Y people! It was funny to see Tony and Carmela perplexed about A.J's career decision. For a minute I thought Johnny was gonna kill Tony until I realized the armed men would have came behind Tony and not behind Johnny. That was a very interesting scene! I was surprised how that big man moved to keep from being manhandled by the feds! He ran right past his truck!! That scen with Tony and paulie was interesting if not awkward and the scene between Tony and Silvio was a bit tense, with all due respect! ;)

I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best, but I really liked it a lot. Tony killing his cousin was wild, but he knew his crew would get wacked, and he didn't want Tony B. to suffer.
I also thought that Tony was going to go off on Silvio in the office scene. I had forgotten all about that horse painting. Tony's reaction to seeing it was funny.
The Tony and Johnny Sac scene was great. Tony really ran like hell. I loved that song that was playing at the end. Can't place the singer though.
My rating for this season: B+

I'm pretty sure it was Van Morrison. I love that song too.

Anytime :)
I love alot of the music they play on this show.
I have the first soundtrack. Haven't listened to it in quite awhile though.
Did anyone else notice this gaff that I'll describe from the following scene? Tony and Carmela were talking to AJ while he was sitting at his computer in his room. AJ was wearing a long sleve, blue sweatshirt. He had his elbows resting on the armrests of the chair he was sitting in. The scene switced back and forth between AJ in the chair to Tony and Carmela at the doorway several times. In some flashes AJ's shirt sleves were rolled up. Then in others his sleves were rolled down. There was no time (or reason) for him to do that between flashes so it was clearly an oversite by the editors.
The show was dang near great. The ending with the 'drowned rat' of a poor worn out Tony walking into the house, being welcomed by Carmela in that funny way was classic. That scene said a lot without being noisy about it. The Van Morrison music was an emotional and, for me, nostalgic touch.

I was just listening to something on the radio, where someone was critical of last weeks finale, and the speaker made note that we would have to endure what was left to us for about a year and a half, because the final season will not be seen until 2006. Could that be possible??

It's interesting to think about it but back in season one, Tony's crew and Uncle Junior were getting all over Pu$$y's case because he ran down the corner when the feds did their raid. And when Pu$$y got out, Junior even said "We don't run, it's embarrassing." Now, here in the finale to season five, Tony is running from the feds.
