I just read Sonny's reply to you about this and I agree 100%: If they can't take a joke, that's their problem. Don't go changing around here, Kat. You're not obnoxious and I happen to think you're funny! Sometimes I wonder if I should tone down my "goofiness" too, but... that's just part of my personality. We can't please everybody.

This sucks. One of the games for my PS2, MVP Baseball 2004, got a lot of scratches and it doesn't work. The part that I'm really irked about is that I was having troubles with saving stuff on it and when I thought I finally got it all figured out, it started having problems. :grr: But I have other games. I could always get it used at Game Crazy, since I'm an MVP member and can get 10% off on all used games and since I have the instruction booklet. I started Metroid Prime before I played (and beat) Ratchet and Clank so I'll do that for the time being.

Hey, anytime. :) Ahh, yeah I understand that. Cheesy/Goofy/Silly: They might as well be part of my middle name. I think that's why I go back and make sure someone understands that I was joking (or whatever the case may be). That's the spirit! You're fine just as you are. People may not understand me or get my sense of humor, and that's ok. I think if we took the time to get to know each other in some cases, it'd help. Otherwise, we'll just go on making assumptions and that's not fair.

Oh yeah...I forgot...another friend came into town because he had a doc's appt. and wanted to meet us for a late lunch...so he took us out ("us" meaning me and the other friend that turned 21 yesterday) for lunch...we played games and I won more than 500 tickets and gave all my tickets to my friend because I didn't want them.

That was all the excitement, and I haven't even been up for 12 hours, because I got up at noon today.

YES, you're so right--the assumptions deal really gets to me. I've been guilty of it before, but for the most part I try to get a better understanding of the person before I assume what they mean.

It's happened to me in real life too... I'd be goofying with my friends, and someone would overhear us and think we were real snots. It feels weird when you get backed into a corner at times like that, because then you're not sure if you can explain yourself.

"Oh no, no, no, we were just teasing eachother, lol."
"Um, whatever..."

I should explain- the restaurant we ate at has a gameroom and all their machines accept tokens ONLY so you have to feed in quarters into a machine to get tokens to play...Yep. So, because I was bored, I figured I'd help out my friend and play the games to get tickets. If you feed all your tickets into this machine and have it print out a receipt, you can take it to the front of the restaurant and redeem it for prizes. My friend had nearly 900 tickets saved up from the previous times she'd played in the gameroom at the restaurant. So with my help, she left the restaurant with 2,625 tickets altogether (we racked up more than 1,500 tickets today ). I did it just for the hell of it, since I hadn't done it in a long time. :D

You mean in your yard, or?

Yeah, backyard... it's actually like an acre that's ours, and they're an old logging road back there... you can't get to the front of our street because of the gate. My mom was on the back porch and for like 5 minutes she was hearing someone on our property, but she just thought it was our cat, but then finally some guy yells "hi!" So she goes, "Who is this?" And there was no response.

Yeah, it was weird! Nutcases. ohno: There was no way they could have accidently ended up on our property either. It's cut off from that old logging road.

This has been a weird week... on Sunday I was going to the bank machine and some bum was hanging around there. As I pulled into the parking lot, he approached a guy at the machine and when the guy turned around, the bum walked away... but didn't leave. I turned around and left! That was the first time I got the creeps any place in my life.

I actually watched Hangin' With Mr. Cooper when it originally aired on TGIF. I sort of liked it but I usually watched it to acheive the satisfaction of watching the entire TGIF lineup which included Family Matters, Boy Meets World, and Step By Step. When they added Clueless, that is when it jumped the shark.

I watched it too. You're so right... TGIF jumped the shark the year Clueless went on. I think that was Sabrina's first year too. Heh, both shows ended up on other less popular networks. There's proof right there TGIF went crappy. That had never happened before. Well, SBS and FM went to CBS, but CBS is reputable... although they should have never went on there. That was a crazy move.

Can you feel the area where they closed up? It's like a bumpy scar or something...I have one, 'cos of my 2nd cartilage piercings from 3 years ago. The scars are starting to disappear...I can't feel them as much anymore.

I've been wanting to get them redone for the last year, so yep. I'd get them pierced in a different location on my ears, though. :) I had my 1st cartilage piercings done in August 2000, and I love them to death. :D

One thing I've noticed - when I first started posting here, there was a lot of animosity toward Cheers because it replaced The Facts Of Life on Nick At Nite. A lot of people downright hated Cheers.

Over the last two and half years, though, that's definitely changed. Now the majority of posters here like Cheers. What a change.

I remember I had some sort of bites in Oct... I had never had anything like them. They itched and burned terribly. I remember looking up different bites and I came across the chigger, but I can't remember if that's what I thought I may have had. I think I ended up completely unsure because nothing seemed to fit with what these looked like and what is around Washington State.
