Okay, you remember my fave blanket I FINALLY got returned when I was up in Devils Lake in May? And how that one friend of my mom's we were staying with has young kids? Okaaaay. There's still a ton of patches I have to sew up on my blanket...anyway, you know Lite Brite? Every time I shake my blanket, I keep finding pegs from their Lite Brite! :livid: That pisses me off. KEEP YER DAMN TOYS OFF MY STUPID BLANKET.

I found two green pegs a couple of weeks ago and just now, I pulled the blanket out of the washing machine and found a pink peg at the bottom. GOOD LORD.

Having to sew up all of those patches would a)piss me off and b) hurt my feelings because they couldn't leave the damn thing alone and treat it with respect.. seeing as how it's your blanket - and a favorite to boot. But now you're finding all of these Lite Brite pegs?

Gah, last year was so depressing. Every time we turned around, another one had died and another thread popped up. John Ritter, Bob Hope and Jonathan Brandis were the worst ones for me. I watched the tributes for both John and Bob, and bawled my eyes out - especially the TV Land tribute for John.

Harold and Maude is a must-see movie! One of my all-time favorites. It's a little dark, but it'll make you laugh and make you realize how much we should enjoy life.

There are quite a few on that list I could name, but Gregory Peck is one I must mention. There was an article about him last year calling him 'The Quiet Gentleman' I believe - very fitting, I think. He was a wonderful actor.

I wish I could say that. In the military, working past your normal hours doesn't translate to getting overtime pay. :(

Yep. 5,000 posts are the limit in Random Threads section (although we don't actually stop at 5,000)

Every time I watch the Weather Channel or our local news, I check to see if anything's going on in San Angelo - lots of rain coming to us from Austin, College Station and all around that area, but there's nothing out in San Angelo. I have family who live there and I know they'd love nothing more than to see it rain more often. ohno: We get all of the tropical moisture from the Gulf and Mexico.
