Oh I know, that's what I'm talking about. There's a world of difference as far as what people were watching then compared to now, imo. Not to knock any of today's shows but Disney screwed that network over as far as I'm concerned. ABC's drama shows were my favorites, while NBC usually had more of my favorite sitcoms.

Yes, they do fall apart by bad habbit. But last year when they started 6-0, all of their wins came against very weak teams. They just weren't a very good team last year. Moves they made in FA this year should fix that. I hope anyway.

You just reminded me of watching The Waltons.. I loved that show! Little House on the Prairie was a huge favorite of mine, as well as Diff'rent Strokes. NBC and ABC had the best movies back then. I'd grab some popcorn and was so excited just hearing the music start up.

Wow, I remember he was old when the Jets made their run back in '98. I still wouldn't be shocked if he lights up the Vikings' D, even with the addition of Antoin Winfield. Crappy QBs have a tendency to look like all-pros when playing against us.

Carter and Hutchenson won't put up much of a battle for it, and Henson has 3 years of rust he still has to shake off. That's why he has that 8 year deal though.

That Family Holvak show I keep telling you about, that aired on NBC on Sundays right before the mystery movie.

I've never liked him. He fumbles to much. I like Quincy but I don't know if he's a big league qb. I'm tired of all these rotating qbs we've had since Aikman retired. I wish they would settle on one.

Both my grandmother and mom were big fans of it, too. Gah, I'd really like to see The Family Holvak, being the Lance Kerwin fan that I am (not to mention Julie Harris and Glenn Ford) and from hearing you talk about it. Speaking of which, I did upload the picture to the gallery. It's too bad people don't venture into that section all that often. So far there's 8 or 9 views to it, which isn't bad but still. Barney Miller: My dad loved the hell outta that one! So I'd watch it with him.. my mom didn't really care for it. Oh and Quincy. I remember staying up late to watch it, good stuff.

Wooooo!

Dormant accounts are email accounts that have not been logged into for an extended period. If the account owner doesn't log in for nine months, Google will delete all messages in the account, close the account, and recycle the username. Other free web-based email providers delete dormant accounts after as few as 30 days. Please note that if you have a dormant account that is deleted, Google cannot guarantee that you will be able to use your previous username again once it has been recycled.

During the summer, I'd try my best to stay up as late as possible when everybody else had gone to bed. That... was the best. We had a huge floor-tv that I'd sit in front of, with my blanket and pillow. I know every kid's done that. During the school year, I had to be in bed by 9 o'clock but every now and then they'd let me stay up until 10.

 It was like I had the entire house all to myself. My parents were actually pretty cool when it came to staying up fairly late on Sundays. 10 - 11 pm was when I had to be in bed, but I never failed to try and weasel my way out of it. Whether it was over a tv show or a late-night movie. So they'd let me stay up, and I usually regretted it.

I've mentioned this before but I always looked forward to Sundays because of those Hammer flicks on FOX 26. And on Sunday nights ABC would show a late-night movie. It's been a few years since they did that.. now it's The Practice or some other show. Or an infomercial.

Saturdays I used to watch that Red Eye Cinema. I think I told you about that. Awful movies with a funny host but very entertaining. Before that of course the original Saturday Night Live------still the best.

They're lazy, if you ask me. I remember flipping it over to 13, and you never knew what they were going to show! That's how I was able to get The Making of a Male Model. Where the hell else can you see that movie? Or Whatever Happened to Aunt Alice? Nowhere, unless Lifetime Movies decides to air it.

Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, I noticed I was late

Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Made my way upstairs and had a smoke
And somebody spoke and I went into a dream...

I actually liked Van Hagar (though not nearly as much as classic Van Halen, with Roth), but this reunion thing is such a joke. The new songs are awful, and Sammy looks like Marlon Brando with a blonde wig.

Ugh, they sure are. In the summertime, I try to keep all the windows open for at least a few hours during the day and then at night. When it's that warm, it's too sticky in the house. Something I've noticed is that it really is getting a lot hotter up in your part of the country, every year.

Maybe, I don't know. I just think it's so weird he thought "41 Shots" was a jab at Bush/Republicans, seeing how he follows law enforcement so closely.

That song actually conjured up some mild controversy amongst the NYPD.

1 cup milk
2 tablespoons cooking oil

In a mixing bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another mixing bowl combine egg, milk and cooking oil. Add to flour mixture all at once. Stir mixture just til blended but still slightly lumpy.

Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot, lightly greased griddle or heavy skillet for each standard-size pancake or about 1 tablespoon batter for each dollar-size pancake.

Cook til pancakes are golden brown, turning to cook second sides when pancakes have bubbly surfaces and slightly dry edges. Makes 8 to 10 standard-size or 36 dollar-size pancakes.

No wait... 4 years. :faint: Dang it. I'm surprised I'm hungry for pancakes tonight instead of waffles when I could have either.

I had Waffles at the waffle House a a few months ago but other than that I haven't had them in years.

Supposedly she does, but she's a REALLY bad signer, so it's not worth it to write to her. :(

1. George Bush Sr - you'll hear from him really quickly @ that address
2. Jimmy Carter - same length of time as GB Sr.
3. Bill Clinton - try this one instead: 55 W. 125th Street, New York, NY 10027
4. Gerald Ford - doesn't sign anymore -- the only thing he will sign is his autobiography, and you can buy it from him for $50. (Not worth it, IMO)
