UGH, DOUBLE UGH!!! I hear ya on that one. There's a TCBS script I want, but it still has 8+ days left and it already has 5 bids and is at $18 :( The MF script I won back in March cost me $40 and I thought that was a lot.

By the way, when I checked the petition to Nick at Nite and TV Land to remove the voice-overs and split screens from the closing theme and credits, there were 1770 total signatures. Even with that many signatures, they still blabber over and crunch the credits. Are they ignoring us or something?

If they treat it with respect and go back to the original (atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere,) that'll be a breath of fresh air. Go for real scares instead of cheap gimmicks, and DON'T spoonfeed the audience... let everything build up. Anyhow, I agree.

The problem with part 3 was that they never should've slapped 'Halloween' on there. It didn't have anything to do with the first two. Should've been a movie on its own.

They pretty much avoided the fact that Jamie Lee Curtis's character was supposed to be dead. I know they said she faked her death but that didn't make much since to me because she didn't take her daughter with her.

Here's a Texas joke (though you may not get it, considering it mentions an Aggie and they're... not known for their smarts):

Three Texans go down to Mexico one night, get drunk, and wake up in jail only to find out that they are to be executed in the morning, though none of them can remember what they did the night before. The first one is strapped in the electric chair and is asked if he has any last words. He says, "I am from the Baylor school of divinity and I believe in the almighty power of God to intervene on behalf of the innocent." They throw the switch and nothing happens, so they figure God must not want this guy to die and they let him go.
The second one is strapped in and gives his last words, "I am from the University of Texas School of Law and I believe in the power of justice to intervene on the part of the innocent." They throw the switch and again nothing happens. They figure that the law is on this guy's side, so they let him go too.
The last one is strapped in and says, "Well, I'm a Texas Aggie Electrical Engineer, and I'll tell you right now you ain't gonna electrocute nobody if you don't connect them two wires."

Another Aggie joke:

One night, an Aggie, a Longhorn and a Red Raider decided to go camping together. They got to their campsite and set up camp, and then the Longhorn left, briefly mentioning that he had to get something. Soon, the Longhorn arrived with some bottled water.

The Aggie looked at the Longhorn and asked,"Why do we need that?"

The Longhorn replied rather sarcastically, "Well, if we get thirsty we can drink this."

The Aggie agreed and then the Red Raider rushed off for the same reason. He soon returned with some chips, ham and other assorted snacks. Once again the Aggie asked what use that would be and the Raider said, "Well, if we get hungry we can eat this stuff."

The Aggie wanted to help to, so he rushed off to get something for the trip. Soon he returned with nothing but a car door. The Longhorn looked at the Aggie, then he looked at the Raider and said, "Hey, Aggie...Why do we need that?"

The Aggie grinned and said, "Well, this way if it gets hot--we can roll down the window!"

That's ridiculous. and it is not a very nice house either; nice homes range from 1 to 5 million; there is a house which is a bloack away from my home, which sold for 2.5 million dollars

And they really don't put in, err, front yards do they? I mean, there's not much TO call a front yard it seems. Not to say it's always the case, just what she talked about.

I used that one too...But people have been reporting problems w/ that address so I put up a different one. Some people get their envelopes back as RTS's and some get successes from that one...Basically that address acts like it's on PMS, to put it bluntly.
