I remember when my sis used to watch Loveline...and, um. What was that gameshow about dating? I forgot..Boy Meets World did an ep about it once...I remember that.

I also remember when my sibs would watch Beavis and Butthead. I always thought they were so stupid.

Dessert. I had a relatively conservative dinner and then played Metroid Prime for a while. Then I had strawberries and pound cake. Not too much. I think that strawberry juice and the thought of tasting and consuming that is making me feel ill.

I don't blame ya. There were way too many hairbands back then. And bands like DD (including DD) didn't get airplay like they did before. I know now the better years were 81-85, with 82-84 being the very best. :(

Never really got into that show. For years, when MTV was playing non music shows I just wasn't interested. I wanted MTV to stick with music all the time.

Speaking of The Beatles, I was watching Antique Roadshow earlier today (the only PBS show I like), and there was this lady that had two signed Beatles programs (one each for her and her sis). Apparently, they'd both had a teacher when they were in jr. high in 1963 that quit teaching and went on tour with the Beatles. The next year, around Christmas of 1964, that teacher came back home and he gave her and her sis both signed programs from everybody in the Beatles. The appraiser appraised it to be $60K-80K. I almost died!

Oh I see. I'm weird that way... I think classic music is awesome, but I could never really get into it, just because I didn't grow up with it. I appreciate it and all, and I listen when it's on, but I usually don't go out of my way to hear it. *shrugs* I'm weird, lol.

Man, just about everything else the appraisers were appraising on Antique Roadshow were from the 1700's to the 1920's and they only went for anywhere between $2K to $12K. To have something from 1964 be appraised at $60-80K....WOW.

For me, I'm mostly into music from the '60s and '70s. The '80s are okay, though definitely not as good as the prior two decades.

The early to mid-'90s, though, ruled.

I don't think that's weird at all. I think that's really cool. I hate how young people are about those preferring older music. Just because it's new doesn't mean it's superior. People are so clueless.

It's better to know those artists from being in the press rather than knowing them for their music. And even the press part, I could do without.

Yeah, I couldn't sleep, so I'm back for a second. I had an emergency root canal today, and I'm in pain. I took a percodan and will go back to bed once it kicks in.

The sweet, sweet release of percodan.

Never had percodan. Is that with asparin? Now, I know percocet very well. It's helpful. :D

Emergency root canal? My gosh! That's bad news. I hope I never need a root canal. Yikes.
