I can't wait for the uncut version of Season One, and without TV Land's iron fist, editing all the episodes.

I cannot wait either. It will be great seeing the unedited episodes for the first time in 40 years, along with the originally unaired pilot on color!

Do you have any information as to whether or not the surviving stars (i.e. Yvonne DeCarlo, Pat Priest, Beverly Owen, Butch Patrick, Al Lewis) will be contributing to the bonus features on the Season One set to be released in August? It would be nice to have them do a few commentary tracks on two or three episodes.

As far as I know its just the 39 episodes.

That's just awful. I wish a company like Image could take over the Munsters on DVD so that we get treatment like The Dick Van Dyke Show is getting. I am very tired of producers releasing bare-bones sets with no extras, or very few, simply because they do not have the time to search for these extras. All producers are trying to do is make money, and this is apparent with the $59.99 SRP for three double-sided discs. Gilligan's Island's first season was $39.99 for 37 episodes on three double-sided discs with a few extras, including a Sherwood Schwartz (creator) commentary.

I wrote an angry e-mail to Universal Studios, saying how we don't want double-sided disks and I also asked for some extras. I dont really mind double sided DVD's :) Plus if they put all episodes on 1 side, it would double the amount of DVD's they will have to use, and that in turn will up the price of the boxset

So i would rather have the two sides, than a increase in price
