That was a silly episode, in a bad way. Why would he call her "perfect" and leave the restaurant?? Florida never acted the prima donna type. Willona maybe, but not Flo. Carl's whole point was just plain silly, as if he was trying to start an argument for no reason. Another lame episode.

Carl was mad because the service was lousy and everyone was getting served before them. Then when the food finally came, Florida's steak was not cooked properly. So when Carl told the waiter to take the steak back, Florida was saying no I just rather eat the steak. Carl was speaking up for her and she was defending the waiter-lol. So Carl was just saying Florida does not WRONG and makes excuses for everything. Florida was acting like it was wrong to make a scene when her steak was not cooked properly. I would have been mad too-lol

They didn't know what to do with Carl's character. Every episode it was something different. Atheist, competition with J.J., incompatibility with Florida, in love with Florida, cancer, and then not there at all. Too much, too fast, and never any follow up.

Sounds more like bad writing and not much forethought, as usual.

Thanks for clearing that up TVA. I forgot what had originally happened.
