I saw that too. She's let her hair grow out quite a bit since then.

Yeah, I saw her on that. She seems to be one of the more visible LHOTP stars as I seem to catch her on alot of those "behind the scenes" shows like the VH1 thing.

Speaking of Allisons, here is another Allison. Yes, it is the Nellie clone, Nancy - Allison Balson. Apparently she is a folk-singer in California and has quite a following.

Ok, so the picture I was trying to post isn't working, so here is a photo gallery from her website if you're interested.

It looks like nobody here saw Allison on Larry King Live.

It was a serious subject that Allison was on for.

She was sexually abused by a relative, from the ages of 6-9. It said she was breaking her 27 year silence.

Just because we didn't address here everything she talked about doesn't mean we didn't see it.
That, and Allison seems like she has adjusted very well and it doesn't seem to have affected her very much. She is a very strong individual and it looks like she has put the past behind her.

My post seems to have struck a nerve.

But, at least 1 person on this thread did say that they did not see Larry King, so not everyone on this thread saw the show.

I'm honestly not sure if I should have brought the topic up, or just let it be. But like I said, not everyone did see the show.

But, if Allison was willing to go on TV to admit this, then I don't see why it shouldn't be mentioned on a messageboard.

I do agree that she looks fantastic.

Nobody said you shouldn't have mentioned it. It was just the tone of your post that i perceived to be admonishing those of us who saw the show, but didn't bring up her abuse. I personally didn't bring it up because the thread didn't seem to be going in the "serious" direction, but you have every right to bring it up.
If I misread your post and you were simply trying to inform those who didn't see the show, I sincerely apologize!

There is nothing wrong with your post at all. Child molestation is a serious issue that should definitely be addressed. I agree that many people here probably didn't see the show. I myself just caught it by accident and was very surprised to see her on there. Ms. Arngrim would have never talked about her abuse if she didn't want to raise awareness to the issue. I for one was just happy to see that she is alive and well and leading a productive life.
