3rd Rock - Season 1 on DVD from May 17th

This is excellent news as 3rd Rock from the Sun is now being released in Season Sets :happyface starting from may 17th.

Season 6 the final season is also available. the dvds are Region 0 so anyone can play them, so everyone lets buy the sets so that seasons 2,3,4 and 5 will be released also.:)

Well, this is bittersweet news. Its great that 3rd Rock is getting another DVD set, but sadly, its a Region 2 set. According to the websites I've seen, Seasons 1 & 6 of 3rd Rock are only playable on Region 2 players, or multi-region players. Most Americans don't have these. I know of someone who bought a multi-region player specifically so they could watch the Season 6 3rd Rock set. If they start releasing 3rd Rock seasons on DVD regularly, I'll be buying one of those players. However, I wish they'd just get released in America instead.

July 26, 2005 is the correct date for the Region 1 Release of Season 1.
