I just read another article about a Simpson's movie now that's now being worked on....

Can I just ask a couple of questions?
First of all, why do they HAVE to wait until the show is off the air to make the movie? Little cartoons like Sponge Bob Square Pants, Powerpuff Girls, even Pokemon made movies in no time and here the Simpson's are currently in their 16th season and we are still waiting!
I'm actually surprised they didn't make a movie back around the early 90's when the Simpson's were bigger than life.
