I've kind of done this before. I had everybody say which of my Top 10 sitcoms they liked and which they didn't. Here it is more complex. I'll give you a list of my Top 10 TV Shows (not just sitcoms) and you guys rate them from 1-10 and then put why you rated it that. If you never saw the show then put N/A. Here we go....

3. The OC
4. Significant Others
5. Arrested Development
6. My Life is a Sitcom

1. Curb Your Enthusiasm (can see the appeal, but I don't think Larry David is a good sitcom lead, he was funnier when he wrote for Jerry)
2. Office (never seen it, heard good things)
3. The OC (not a fan, 90210 was the same show but better)
4. Significant Others (never seen it)
5. Arrested Development (will be very disapointed if Fox cancels it, this show is genius)
6. My Life is a Sitcom (haven't seen it)
7. SNL (has it's moments, I generally prefer Mad TV though when it comes to funniness)
8. Jimmy Kimmel Live (he's funny, but I like him better when he's NOT in a suit and tie, it's so not Jimmy. I liked him better on Man Show)
9. The Apprentice (I hate reality shows and this is no exception. I usually watch SNL but I hated last weeks episode since it practically played as a 90 minute Apprentice infomercial)
10. Sports Night (great show, should've lasted another season, tho I am glad it ended in time for Peter Krause to go onto Six Feet Under, since IMO, he has done such a great job as Nate)

1. Curb Your Enthusiasm - 1/10 - Reality-based drivel with offensive content.
2. The Office - 1/10 - So boring.
3. The OC - 1/10 - Its a soapopera, and like most soapoperas--too angst-ridden and realistic for their own good.
4. Significant Others - N/A
5. Arrested Development - 1/10 - Complete with the shaky camera and mumble-speak that makes these kinds of shows so terrible.
6. My Life is a Sitcom - 1/10 -, a reality show. And, another bad one at that.
7. SNL - 4.5/10 - Ocassionally amusing, but pales in comparison to Carol Burnett & Friends.
8. Jimmy Kimmel Live - 1/10 - Jimmy Kimmel is a talentless hack.
9. The Apprentice - 1/10 - Its a reality show. And, like most reality shows, full of bad behavior and a complete lack of creativity.
10. Sports Night - 1/10 - Simply, one of the worst sitcoms of all time.

Sarcasm I'm assuming because all 5 of the sitcoms on that list are single-camera.

Most people (including myself) consider it a dramadey (a drama that's funny or a comedy that's dramatic. The former in this case). I personally find the show hilarious.

Arrested Development should be number 1 and SNL number 2.

Cheesier? No. Sports Night was boring and uncreative, IMO. On the other hand, Full House can be cute, Family Matters can be quite enjoyable, and although I've never seen Small Wonder, from what little clips I've seen, it looks amusing.

Sports Night uncreative?!
Maybe it wasnt family friendly like the other shows mentioned -- but god.... if Sports Night was uncreative -- than NO show is.

It's his opinion. If he thinks the show was uncreative, then he can think it. He isn't hurting you or anyone else in thinking that, so let him think it!

I agree, Sports Night was a great series.

Maybe it's not the greatest show in the history of television, but it sure didn't unleash The Olsen Twins or Steve Urkel on the world, and that alone keeps it from being the worst sitcom ever IMO
