Camille - I thought this was her best top 12 performance yet, though it still wasnt amazing.

JPL - Wow. Big disappointment. I was hoping for something more exciting.

La Toya - She was really good! Though the song isnt my favorite.

I agree, Jon Peter Lewis wasn't that great.

Camile was better than last week, but still not good enough.

Latoya was pretty good

Amy Adams was great.

Amy Adams - So far the best Ive seen. Aha!! I do see the Leno resemblance a little.

John Stevens - Meeeeeh. That was bad.

Tonight has been a huge dissapointment for me so far. Im not a fan of country, but last week was so much better. Im expecting George, Diana and Fantasia to be good.

Jennifer - The best so far. Shes not my fav. and her facial expressions are overdone, but I thought it was good.

Jasmine - I liked the beginning, but the rest didnt have that... POW! in it. I remember Kelly Clarksons version and liked it 1000 times better.

Diana - Pretty good! I liked it, it was perky and her voice did well.

Fantasia - Probably the best. Not really a fan of hers, but she probably did the best job out of them all.

Well my question is, while Simon was critizing him, someone from the audience yelled something out to him. Does anyone know what that person said? I think that person said "shut up" but I'm not so sure.

George - The best IMO. I think the main reason I wasnt all that impressed with tonight is because they all sang songs I dont really like-- and I like motown!! Ill be voting for George tonight as well.

1) I have Diana Degarmo at number one, but what was up with that outfit? Horrible. I wish she would wear tight jeans again.

2) I have George Huff and Amy Adams tied for second. George gave his best performance and Amy proves once again to be a powerful singer.

3) Fantasia, Jasmine Trias, La Toya London, Jennifer Hudson are tied for third.

4) Camille Velasco (this was her best performance)

5) Job Peter Lewis (His singing isn't good enough, but he does have good show man ship.

6) John Stevens (His weakest performance, but considering his previous 2 performances were good, I'd say he is still in the running.

I say either Camile or Jon Peter Lewis should go.

i enjoyed George, Diana, and Jasmine the most tonight

I also liked Amy and Fantasia, but when Amy was singing, the background music was so loud!! but i still think she did awesome.

i was dissapointed in JPL a little, cuz i was beginning to be a fan, but maybe when i relisten to it, ill begin to like it again.

um.. i think Jennifer will go home tomorrow night, or Camile.

Bottom three - John, Camille, and if it were up to me, JPL. But it's either Jennifer or LaToya.

Top three - Amy, George, and Diana.

We now know that Diana could go on as a soul singer, Amy as a country singer, and George as a motown singer. We know what they'll be doing when they put singles out! :p

Okay. Here is my opinion.


1)Fantasia did the best. She consistently has good performances, and she acts like she's been in the business forever. She knows how to connect with the audience, and she always does a really good job. I love her voice. Amazing!

2) Diana was my second favorite. The song was cute. She did a really good job at making it her own, and I think she has the potential to be the best in the competition.

3) Jon Peter .... I have to put JPL at number 3. Although his performance wasn't the best, I was glad to see him doing a little bit of dancing, with his arms and such. He's too cute not to enjoy though. Just watching him sing puts a smile on my face!:biglove:

4) LaToya...always good. She's not one of my favorites, but nobody can deny that she has an awesome voice.

5) Amy did really really good. I liked her performance tonight, but last weeks was still my favorite...and Simons comment, well that was just wrong.:o

6) Jennifer Hudson. She is getting better. I hope she isn't in the bottom 3 this week, because she has really grown in the past couple of weeks.

7) Jasmine - definatley not one of my favorites, because she isn't consistent. She has a good performance, then the next two suck... it needs to be better, although I enjoyed her tonight 1000 times more than last week.

8) John Stevens - I like him, but like Simon said, it just wasn't good tonight.

9) George Huff - not a big fan, and I didn't like the performance. JMO!

10) Camile - she is so BLAH! Oh my gawl. I think I would go to sleep if I had to listen to her for over 5 minutes at a time. Its like she just doesn't care anymore. She was good at first, but she just doesn't seem to try ... she lost the personality. She reminds me A LOT of Julia from last year. Really good at first, but she's slowly lost all the 'star' quality.

I think John Stephen's performance is the worst of the night so far. I like Amy's and JPL's performances so far.

Performances of the night go to Fantasia Barrino, Jasmine Trias, Amy Adams, George Huff, and Diana DeGarmo. JPL wasn't really good compared to those finalists but I liked his performance nonetheless, although it wasn't his best (this is probably partly because I love the song he performed).

Fantasia and George were, hands down, the best tonight. Gotta give it up to them.

Bottom three tonight were Camile, John S. and (I hate to say it) JPL.
JPL needs to start doing better. I like him tho.

Ahh..both JPL and John Stevens weren't that good tonight. John especially. He was just so.......boring. JPL was okay I guess but really he could do so much better.

I thought Diana did really well tonight. She was really full of energy plus it was a cute song for her. Jennifer Hudson.....whoa. I never really liked her that much but I thought she did really well tonight too. I also liked Jasmine...but well, I pretty much always have (except last week). Fantasia really showed off her voice tonight and that impressed the judges, so congrats to her. I dunno, I guess I enjoyed her performance but well...I couldn't stand the song. lol. Actually........I didn't even like tonight's theme in general. Ah well.

I hope I get to vote tomorrow! I had to do a project all night and ick...when I tried calling every single person I wanted to vote for, their line was busy.

Overall, it was a down week. The band was great, but many of the singers disappointed us. Not enough of the singers had the juice in their voice to do the songs any justice, especially JOhn, Jon and Camile.

My rankings for this week:

1. Diana- Vocally, the strongest.
2. George- Motown is his element.
3. Fantasia- Pretty good
4. Jasmine- Far better than last week
5. Amy- Solid, but not spectacular
6. Jennifer- Way too over the top
7. LaToya- Disappointing
8. Jon Peter Lewis- His popularity shields him froms bombs like tonight.
9. John Stevens- The act is wearing out.
10. Camile- Just terrible

And now, the fearless predictions (Season record 1-1). The bottom three will be Camile, John Stevens and Jennifer. Camile gets the boot this week for her weak performances and the fact that she performed first, making her the most forgettable.

My prediction is that Fantasia is the one to beat (throughout the whole competition) and will be in the final two. In other words, she will either win it or be the runner up.

1) George's was just awesome, it was great I LOVED it, probably my fave of the night, good song choice for him too
2) Diana I LOVE that song she picked, I too thought it was just plain awesome, it was great
3) JOn Peter Lewis - It was good! The dancong was good, Not his best, but still better than last week's IMO, but still he's my #1 fav
4) Amy Adams - OK, she does NOT LOOK like Jay Leno, its not The Tonight Show with Amy Adams , last week Simon called JPL Ja John BOy lookalike, this time another, what he gonna say next week? Jon Stevens looks like a teenage Conan O'Brien?
5) Jasmine - It was pretty good, I LOVED it
6) Jennifer - Pretty good!
7) LaToya - She was good, but not as good as last week, hopefully next week we'll see last week's LaTOya
8) Camille - It was bad, didnt ike it too much
9 ) Jon Stevens - Ok, ok, I admit, I liked it, but not as good as some of his other performances , he's my 2nd fav still
10 ) Fantasia - I kinda liked it, but still not as good, JMO

If I had to rank them in order with no ties based on this weeks performance, this is how I have it....

1) I have Diana Degarmo at number one. She had given 3 good performances in a row. She has a great personality and great showmanship. She is also great looking. It she continues to perform this well there is a good chance she could win. Unless of course Teen girls get jealous and decide not to vote for her.

2) Amy Adams. She proves again she is a great singer. 3 good performances in a row. She isn't as good looking as Diana, but her singing is almost as good.

3) George Huff. His best performance thus far.

4) Jasmine Trias. She has yet to match her performance from the first week. This week her singing and was good, but not nessessarily better than Fantasias, Latoyas and Jennifers. When the singing is equal you have to go with looks, so Jasmine is number 4 this week.

5) Fantasia. Her performance and singing were good, but not dominant like the past two weeks so I have her a 5 this week.


6) La Toya London. She is a decent singer, but Latoya, Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia are all competing for the same votes. Right now Fantasia is ahead, so I don't believe Latoya or Jennifer have a chance at winning.

7) Jennifer Hudson (see above)

8) Camille Velasco. This was her best performance. But still not good enough to be the next American Idol. Camile has good looks, but so do Jasmine and Diana. The difference is Diana and Jasmine are much better singers.

9) John Stevens (His weakest performance, but considering his previous 2 performances were good, I'd say he is still in the running.)

10) Job Peter Lewis. He did pretty good the first week, but the past two weeks his singing has been significantly below his competitors. He has good showmanship, but his singing is not good enough to win.

I think Camille is going to go home, but I wish George would, I don't like him at all, there is something about him that annoys me.
