Jinny was working one day and she was really having a bad day. She didn't know that her life was going to be so bad after Jack left her, because of the whole drinking thing, but he would never speak to her again if he knew that after she promised that she would go to rehab, didn't and is still on drugs. Synthetic Heroin to be exact. She wasn't sure about it anymore.
Jinny-Magda, I think that I need to talk to you about something. Do you have a minute?
Magda-Sure Jin, what's up?
Jinny-Well I haven't been doing so well after Jack left me. I mean we are still married, and I still love him, but I don't know what to do.
Magda-Well what do you mean Jin? What happened? You're not drinking again are you?
Jinny-Well I'm not drinking...
Magda-What are you doing then if its not alcohol?

Jinny- Fine. This is what I'm on. This is the reason Jack won't talk to me. I promised him I would stop and go to rehab, but I can't do it. I will end up like my mom, I know I will.
*pulls out bag and shows Magda*
Mag-OMG Jin, no wonder. You need help. I am going to call the captain.

Mag- OMG Jinny.....*calls for help* I have an Inspector down.....I need an ambulance......Magda's apartment.....hurry!
About 15 minutes later, the paramedics showed up.
Paramedic- Ma'am what happened?
Magda- I don't know we were talking and she just passed out. She might be pregnant though.
Paramedic- Ok let's get her some oxygen and get her to a hospital.
Magda- May I come too?
Paramedic- Of course. Come with us.
They arrived at the hospital 20 minutes later. Magda had to wait in the waiting room. While she was there, she called Kate at the station.
Kate- McCafferty..
Magda- Hi Captain it's Magda.
Kate- Hi Magda. What's wrong?
Magda- Well I am in the ER. Jinny fainted in her aprtment so I brought her here.
Kate- I am on my way over.
Magda- Okay. *Hung up*
In that matter of minutes Captain came. She told Magda that she was racing over to the hospital, because she was really worried about Jinny.
Captain- Mag, what happened? What happened to Jinny?
Magda- I don't know. We were talking and she fainted. I don't know what to do.
Captain- Mag, how long have you worked for me?
Magda- I don't know 5 years?
Captain- Something like that. And in that time, how many times have you lied to me.
Magda- Why?
Captain- Because you are lieing to me right now, and I want to know what is going on.
Magda- I don't want to say anything unless Jinny says its ok. I think that thats what brough on this. She told me something in confidence, and I told her that I was going to tell you, and she had a fit.
Cap- Calm down Mag. I just wanted to know what is going on. Tell me after you talk to Jinny.

Just as they were finishing up their conversation, the doctor came out.
Doc- Exstead?
Mag and Cap- Yeah that's us....what's wrong with her??
Doc- Well I'm sorry to inform you but Jinny isn't looking like she is going to make it.....
Mag- NO THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! SHE IS NOT GOING TO DIE!!!
Doctor-Miss you didn't let me finish....Miss Exstead is not going to make it any longer without a transplant. Her kidney is failing because of all the drugs in her system.
Mag- Oh, well test me! I will donate my kidney if I am a match.
Captain-Test me too, we will get everyone from the station to get tested.

Doctor-Ms. Rameriz, you are a match and your kidneys are well enough that you can donate a kidney to Miss Exstead.
Mag- That is great. Can I talk to her before I go into surgery?
Doctor-Sure, she is room 5A
Magda went into Jinny's room. Jinny was half asleep.

Doctor- Well she is pretty tired so we will do it tomorrow morning. Let her get some rest..

The doctor looked into his chart to see when he was available.
Doctor- I am open tomorrow at 9AM.
Magda- Ok I will be here. Doctor..

Magda- How is the baby?
Doctor- It should be fine but we wont know until after the operation.

Magda went back out into the waiting room.
Kate- What did he say?
Magda- He said that he could do the operation tomorrow morning.

Kate- So you two were just talking when it happened?

That morning Magda and Jinny went through surgery. CD, Nate, Raina, and Kate were all there. Everything came through fine. They were both ok. Now the question was to see if the baby was ok. 2 hours after the surgery, a nurse came out to the waiting room.
Nurse- Ms. McCafferty?
Kate- Yes?
Nurse- The Doctor would like to see you in Jinny's room.
Kate- Is everything ok?
Nurse- He will talk to you.
Kate- Ok.
Knowing she didn't say everything was fine worried her so she went to Jinny's room very quickly.

Doctor- *Motioned for them to talk out in the hallway*
Kate- What's wrong?
Doctor- Well I thought you should tell her the news. Her baby is fine.
