I really never liked the way they changed the inside of Arnold's when they started filming live.

The restroom doors made no sense. The girl's door was on the wall outside the men's room, approximately where the sinks and mirrors would be inside. In the earlier episodes the restroom doors were in a little enclosure, and the girls' restroom would have fit there lengthwise, just like boys' did.

There is also just one entrance/exit to the new Arnold's. The other hallway became a closed in corner of the room.

A new booth was placed in front of the wall of the kitchen, where there used to be a wall/entryway to the kitchen that was open on either side.

Now the kitchen just opens from the main room.

The main dining room become basically a big square.

Also, the booth in which the boys sat at actually had no "wall" but was instead a place where the cameras did the filming.
Is it just me or did the "boys" & "girls" restrooms change a few times?

I notice several times girls were seen in the men's room & vice versa (especially in "stolen melodies" where Al tried to notice it).
Since when were they co-ed in the 50's? I bet there were no stalls in the toilets either. I don't remember pay toilets until the 70's.

Bathroom stalls are not a new thing. They are as old as public restrooms.
