Hi everyone! I'm new to this board, but a SN fan since Day One. I bought the Japanese Import DVD set last year, and recently, it seems to have "worn out". Certain parts freeze up, skip around, the voice and the video aren't in sync with each other ...
I figured MAYBE it was the packaging. The Japanese version has all 6 dvds sitting on a spool. I thought maybe the friction between the disks caused some damage ... so I bought ANOTHER set, this time the regular American version. Three cases, two disks in each, each disk not touching another disk ... seems perfect. The only problem is, this too, is freezing up and skipping around. My player is playing all other dvds effortlessly. No problems at all.
Has anyone had any similar problems? Does Buena Vista have any idea that this is happening??
