The OLYLIMPIC JACKASS Kurt Angle,

Paul Heyman out, Kurt Angle in

WWE.com has learned that former WWE Champion Kurt Angle has accepted the job as SmackDown! General Manager.

In replacing Paul Heyman, Kurt Angle’s first order of business was to mold the SmackDown! roster to his liking. In an attempt to do so, Angle has completed two trades with RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff.

The first trade sends F.B.I. member Chuck Palumbo and A-Train to RAW for the combination of the sexy Miss Jackie and Rico.

The second trade is a blockbuster three-for-one deal. RAW’s Eric Bischoff has agreed to send the Dudley Boyz and Booker T to SmackDown! in exchange for former World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. This announcement comes straight off the heels of Triple H being chosen by SmackDown! in the draft lottery just 24 hours prior.

Be sure to check back here as more information becomes available.

It never changes. Whenever they sing that "Na Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye" song, that person always comes back. Anyone notice that happens in the WWE.

Ditto here. I hope Kurt Angle is not retiring from wrestling.

Kurt Angle is one of the alltime best wrestlers out there today. I hope he comes back soon. Then maybe they can make Teddy Long GM.

Kurt Angle as GM, reminds me of Steve Austin as co-GM, if one of your stars can't wrestle, make him a GM.

But, Angle is only taking time off from wrestling, Austin is retired from active wrestling.

With Kurt Angle as the gm,I hope he doesn't screw Eddie Guerrero out of the title. Eddie has been through a lot in his career and he is deserving as the wwe champion.

Warning, if you don't want to know what happens on the next Smackdown, do not read this.

Actully, it appears that they are trying to turn Angle into a face again. On the next Smackdown, Booker T. will turn heel by saying Raw is the superior brand and Smackdown is the minor leagues. Which by the way, is the truth.

I think, Booker T. will badmouth Smackdown, so Kurt Angle can win back the fans by defending the Smackdown name aganst Booker T.

BookerT was right when he said Smackdown is the minor leagues of WWE. Smackdown show too many crusierweights, only show like 4 matches average every week. Raw is more advanced than Smackdown.

What's wrong with the cruiserweights?

Like I said before. They are like the minors. If they match up with a heavyweight, it's obvious who would win like a minor league baseball team against the yankees.

After Stephanie was fired, she married Triple H, so no return of steph is planned.

Kurt as GM Sounds like it could be pretty entertaining. I Personally think they should have kept Heyman though.

As long as Eric stays as Raw GM, Im Happy. Next To Vince Himself (And Maybe Shane Mcmahon And Mick Foley), No One is as entertaining In A Power Role as Eric Bischoff.
