I love watching reruns of Roseanne and am happy to have found this board.

Has anyone noticed in the episode where Roseanne is wondering if Darlene is running away, ( checking her bankbook while cleaning her room with sister Jackie) to go to school in Chicago that she is wearing a white shirt with a chicken or rooster with an egg on it? In the whole episode everyone including Roseanne, Jackie, Darlene and DJ are all wearing this shirt? Anyone know the real reason behind it? Thanks.

My mother works at abc administration in ca and some fan sent the whole cast those t-sherts and roseanne bar got a hold on them and she thoght it wold be funny whereing them

Everyone on the shows wears the chicken shirts in the last 3 seasons I think. Even in season 9, when they were rich and could buy really nice clothes to wear, that chicken shirt was still being passed around the family for people to wear. lol.

I think that Roseanne even had that design put on an apron that she wore in the diner. lol. Those shirts are great, the way that they always sneak their way into almost every episode from about the 7th season on. (I'm just guessing 7th, it could have been before that sometime when the first one appeard. I can't remember).
