Fanfic: Help Me

My first Division fanfic!!! Please respond!!!

"Bartender another beer please," Jinny requested
"I think you've had enough miss," the bartender said.
"I'll tell you when I have had enough," Jinny said. "Another beer please."
Hesitantly the bartender handed her another beer and Jinny downed it in one gulp. She paid her bill and then got up to leave. Climbing into ther car she turned on the ignition and began driving down the winding road towards her appartment. Suddenly Jinny started to feel tired she was struggling to stay awake and she could barely see the road in front of her. Seeing a blinding light in the distance Jinny swerved and hit a tree in the road. She didn't have her cellphone with her and she couldn't call for help so she got out of the car and started walking towards her apartment. Soon Jinny couldn't see anything and she fell on down onto a pile of snow and let the rest of the snow come down on top of her as she lost consiousness.

Kate McCafferty was sitting at her desk getting ready to close up for the night when the phone rang.
"McCafferty," Kate said as she listened to the person on the other line. "Okay I'll be right there."
Kate hung up the phone and began calling Nate, CD, Magda, and Raina to meet with her.

Kate called the Inspectors into the Division and none of them looked happy to be there. Magda looked around the room to see that Jinny wasn't there.
"Captain?" Magda asked. "Why isn't Jinny here?"
"It concerns Jinny," Magda said. "The neighorhood watch found Jinny's car abondoned on the side of the road it looks like she may have hit a tree."
"Oh my god did they find her?" CD asked.
"No they want us to go look for her," Kate said. "Anyone have any idea where to start?"
"Well Jinny usually goes to a bar after work she may have been driving drunk so I'm not exactly sure where she went but I say we start at the crash sight and head towards her apartment," Magda said.
"Sounds like a plan Magda," Kate said. "Nate CD you take the center of town. Check all the bars incase she had gone back to one. Magda myself and Raina will take the road that will lead to Jinny's apartment. "Okay now that we know where we are going good luck and lets hope that we find her while she is alive."
"She will be," CD said. "She has to be."

"How could Jinny have been this irresponible," CD said as she and Nate drove through town checking every single bar in sight to make sure she wasn't there.
"Well considers Jinny family history I think it runs in the family," Nate said. The comment warrented a slap from CD. "What was that for?"
"Jinny is my friend!" CD said. "She had a hard life don' t make fun of it."
"I'm sorry," Nate said. "I just hope that she is okay."
"I do too," CD said.

"She should be here," Magda said." Somewhere!"
"We'll find her Magda don't worry," Kate said.
"We'll find her in time," Raina said.
"Providing she wasn't ran over by a car," Magda said as she continued ranting about how she hoped Jinny was okay. "Then as Kate turned a corner she saw a flash of black. "Wait stop!"
"What?" Kate said.
"I think I see her," Magda said as Kate pulled up to the corner and Magda ran towards the lump on the ground that she thought was Jinny. "Oh my god," Magda said as she looked her friend over. She had black and blue blisters and her lips were starting to turn a bluish purple. "Jin!! Jin!! Jin!! Jin!!" Magda called shaking her friend.
"I'm calling 911," Kate said as Raina ran up from behind her with the blanket Kate kept in the trunk of the car. She helped Magda cover Jinny in the blanket and waited for the ambulance.

Nate and CD continued to drive around town waiting for some news on Jinny when CD's phone rang.
"Hello!" CD answered.
"CD it's Captain McCafferty," Kate said.
"Captain hi did you find her? CD asked.
"We found her on the road I guess she passed out," Kate said. "I called an ambulance and they bought her to the hospital but they haven't told us anything yet," Kate explained.
"Okay Captain we'll be right there,"CD said hanging up the phone. "They found her she's at the hospital."
"Is she going to be okay?" Nate asked.
"The Captain doesn't know yet but she passed out on the side of the road," CD said.

Magda was sitting in the waiting room. The doctors hadn't given them any news on Jinny and Magda was beginning to get worried. Magda had watched the paramedics bring Jinny to the hospital and she was bearly able to register what they were saying but they said something about an 91.4 degree body tempeture and they had placed Jinny in a hypothermia bag before they loaded her into the ambulance. Raina was sitting next to her with a blank expression on her face and the Captain was busy trying to reach John and Casey at their apartments. As far as she knew Nate and CD were on their way.
The Captain finally made her way towards them and sat down next to Magda.
"You okay?" Kate asked.
"My best friend and partner is in the hospital how could I be okay?" Magda asked.
"Jinny is going to be okay," Kate said. "It looks like she has hypothermia, the doctors will help her."
"What if she doesn't make it?" Magda asked.
"She will don't be negative," Raina jumped in.
"How is she?" CD asked as she ran through the door.
"We don't know the doctors haven't told us," Magda said.
"Exstead?" a doctor questioned.

"How is she?" CD asked as she ran through the door.
"We don't know the doctors haven't told us," Magda said.
"Exstead?" a doctor questioned.
"Yes!" everyone said.
"How is she?" Magda asked.
"She has severe hypothermia," the doctor explained. "Her body temperature is 91.4 and we had to place her in a hypothermia wrap in order to get her body temperature to rise." The doctor gulped and the detectives looked at him scared of what he might say next. "She has a fifty percent chance of survival," the doctor said.

"She is going to be okay right?" Magda asked.
"She should be okay once we get her body temperature back up to normal," the doctor said. "There is more though, the achohol she drank before she collapsed caused her to develop achohol poisoning." the doctor explained. "Which means that she is in a coma and will probably need a kidney transplant when she comes out of it."
"What if we can't find a match for her," Raina asked.
"If she comes out of a coma and we can't find a match then she will have to go on dialysis but the complete truth is that if Jinny wants to live then she will have to stop drinking and I mean she'll HAVE to stop."
"Can we see her?" Kate asked.
"You can but I should warn you she doesn't look much different then the when you found her on the side of the road," the doctor said. "The next thirty minutes are critical to prevent afterdrop but then we will get her a room."
"I don't care," Magda said. "I just have to see her."
"Thank you doctor where is she?" Kate asked.
"She's down the hall in room seven," the doctor said.
"Thank you," Raina said as the group began walking down the hall to their friends room.

Monitors were beeping and keeping track of Jinny's heartrate and body tempurature. Jinny herself was lying on a bed covered in blankets and a hypothermia wrap.
"She looks so cold," Raina said.
"She looks so pale," Magda said.
"I hope that she will be okay," CD said.

After a short visit with Jinny the detectives went outside to see the doctor.
"I'm sorry to have to bother you," the doctor said. "But if Miss Exstead is going to survive we need to give her a kidney transplant. If any of you would be willing to give up a kidney I need to send you down to get some bloodwork done."
"I'll go," Nate said.
"Me too," CD said.
"Of course I will," Magda joined in.
"Yes I will," Raina said.
"Last but not least me," Kate said as the doctor showed the the way to the lab where their bloodwork would be done.

Forty minutes later:
"Okay after comparing all your lab work with a sample of Jinnny's blood," the doctor began. "One of you is a match."
"Which one of us?" Raina asked.
"Candice DeLorenzo," the doctor said.
"What," CD asked.
"You and Jinny are the same blood type and most of your antibodies match," the doctor said. "Your kidney would be less likely to ne rejected from her body then anyone elses. Are you willing to give up one of your kidneys?"
"Yeah of course I am," CD said.
"Alright once Miss Exstead wakes up from her coma we will perform a kidney transplant," the doctor said. "For now I suggest you all go home and get some rest. It's been a long day for you guys."

Oh, yay, CD is a match! Wahoo! Now hopefully Jinny will get better. Just don't let anything happen to CD from giving the kidney! Post more soon!

A Week Later:
A week after Jinny got over hypothermia and the inspectors were waiting anxiously for Jinny to come out of her coma. Magda had spent every spare minute she could find sitting with Jinny and talking to her and hoping that she could reach her in some way. The doctors have taken Jinny's hypothermia blanket off and have put her on oxygen so that it would be easier for her to breathe.
"Hey Jin," Magda said as she walked into Jinny's hospital room on her lunch break. "How are you feeling?" Magda asked as she pushed a strand of hair behind Jinny's ear. "You know Jinny the sooner you come out of your coma the sooner the doctors can help you get better." Magda took her friend's hand and felt it move under her own. "Jin?" Magda questioned wondering if it she was hulusinating. Jinny moaned and moved her head. "Jin! Jin it's Magda! Wake up Jin! Come on!" Jinny slowly opened her eyes and saw her friend standing over her.
"Magda?" Jinny questioned.
"It's me," Magda said. "Hold on."Magda ran to get the doctor and returned to see Jinny trying to sit up. "Jin you shouldn't be trying to move!"
"How long have I been here?" Jinny asked.
"Awhile." Magda said not wanting to shock her friend.
"Why was I here?" Jinny asked.
"They found your car abondoned on the side of the road we went searching for you and found you passed out on the side of the road," Magda said. "By the time we found you hypothermia set in and you were unconsious. We bought you here and we found out you had hypothermia on top of alchohol poisoning."
"Is that it?" Jinny asked.
The doctor came in and Magda stopped explaining what happened knowing that it would be best for Jinny to hear it from the doctors.

"Doctor what's wrong with me?" Jinny asked. "Why am I here?"
"You need a kidney transplant," the doctor said. "All the alcohol you've been drinking has shut your two existing ones down. We have a donor so if you are willing to go through surgery then we can go for it. If not then I suggest we put you on dialysis."
"Who is the donor? Jinny asked.
"It's your friend Candice DeLorenzo," the doctor said. "I tested them alll the first day you came into the hospital. I suggest you talk to her."
"Okay," Jinny said.
The doctor left leaving Jinny alone with Magda. "I've called everyone at work. CD, Raina, Nate, and Kate are all on their way right now."
"Good I need to talk to CD," Jinny said.
"Jinny the doctor didn't tell you something else," Magda said. "You have to stop drinking and he means that you have to stop if you want to...to," Magda began.
"Live?" Jinny questioned. Magda nodded. "I want to live Magda and I think that I have let this consume my life and I want to get it back."
Magda leaned forward and hugged her friend. "I am so glad to hear you say that."
'Knock knock," Kate said as she entered the hospital room.
"Hey Captain," Magda said. "Look whose awake."
"Hey their sleepy head." Kate said. "When do you plan on coming back to work?"
"Once I get the kidney transplant and I finish recovering," Jinny said.
"I see Magda has already told you alot about you condition," Kate said.
"Yep." Jinny said. "Hey is CD here? I need to talk to her"
She'll be here soon," the captain said.

"Hey!" CD said as she knocked on her friends door later that afternoon.
"Hey," Jinny said.
"Did Magda tell you about the kidney transplant?" CD asked.
"She did," Jinny said. "I wanted to thank you before the doctor decided to sceduele the surgery."
"It's no big deal. I mean dialysis wouldn't be much of a picnic," CD said. "And my body could function just fine with one kidney."
"Thanks again," Jinny said.
CD and Jinny gave each other a friendly hug.

The next morning the doctor schedueled the kidney transplant. CD was in a room ajacent to Jinny and Magda was acting as the moderator as both of them were prepped for surgery until CD and Jinny were both wheeled down the hall on gurney's.
"Okay let's fix this woman up," the doctor said as he scrubbed his hands and walked into the operating room.

Outside. Kate, Magda, Raina, and Nate all waited for news on Jinny's condition. They both knew that it would be hours until they got some news but they were still nervous.
Three hours later a doctor came out of the operating room.

"Yes," all four officers said.
"How are they?" Kate asked.
"Candice is doing fine," the doctor said he took a deep breath in as he began to explain about Jinny's condition. "Jinny's also doing fine. We're going to need to keep her here for a week until we can be sure that she isn't going to reject the kidney."
"Can we see them?" Nate asked.
"Candice and Jinny are both in their own rooms," that doctor said. "They are across from each other so you can see them both."
"Thank you doctor," Magda said.

Magda entered Jinny's room and saw her friend lying on her bed. She sat downn next to her and held her friends hand. Jinny stirred a little bit and opened her eyes to see Magda's face.
"Hey Jin," Magda said. "How are you feeling?"
"Hey Magda," Jinny said. "Fine. A little weak."
"You just underwent a major operation I would think that you would be a little tired," Magda said.
"How's CD?" Jinny asked.
"She's fine Jinny," Magda said. "CD came through the surgery fine. She's across the hall."
"Good to here!" Jinny said. "Now I don't have to worry."
"Well you better get some rest," Magda said. "I'll be back in the morning."
"Okay," Jinny said as she closed her eyes again.
"Goodnight Jinny," Magda said as she left.

A week later Magda went to the hospital to pick Jinny up. Jinny was in her room dressed in jeans, a t-shirt, and her usual leather jacket. Magda popped her head into Jinny's room.
"You ready to go?" Magda asked.
"You bet I am," Jinny said.

Yes. I am sorry that this is taking so long. I've been busy and then my computer died.
