Oh, God...it's starting again. :o
Every once in awhile, I go on an ML kick and have this unbelievable craving for some Blue Moon banter. Well...it's baaaaack. :( My bedroom door is now adorned with Moonlighting pictures, and I'm even working on a collage. I really think I'm going insane.
I've gotta break out my tape. I haven't watched it in about a month, so maybe that'll calm me down a bit. I sure hope it does...I can't take much more of this. I'm starting to need those DVDs. ohno:
:help

Lovely, eh? :biglove:
dave's views of marriage:(maybe)
d: obsession? the only thing you know of am obsession is how to keep the office party at a standstill.
m: office party? we are paying those people to work.
d: work? they do that at home when they see their spouse, day in and day out. now that's a job.
m: a job to go home to nice warm loving family?
d:darn right it's a job. you don't like your husband, we just get the writers to create a brand new man, a television frankenstein. our employees like to do the limbo to find new ways to sneak out of the house before they have to take out the trash.

It's funny...that sounds exactly like something good ol' Dave would say. You should think about writing for Virtual Moonlighting. :D

Are you kidding? As a good fan, I'm very surprised that you aren't on virtualmoonlighting.com (http://www.virtualmoonlighting.com) every day. :nonono: I don't go on much, because it doesn't get updated often, but I think the authors are into season 9 already. :D Check it out.

That's awesome! :D
Writing is my favorite thing to do, but I could never write fanfiction. ohno: I need complete creative control. :p
the only thing about the wrestling deal is using history to your stories. and creating the fiction at the same time. right now the stuff is in 1987. i am using stars at the time as well as creating new storylines for them. hard part is not keeping up with history or creating new ideas, it is keeping people in character by their actions and words. but if you are familiar with said individual, it is pretty easy.
guess the same would apply to moonlghting or any other medium. just got to know your characters' ways.

Yeah, definitely. Keeping the characters believable has gotta be the hardest part about fanfiction. I could never do that...must be tough. :o
don't limit yourself lauren. just imagine how you would want your characters to live, the things they would do if it were you doing it. be in controll of your characters and ideas.

It would be a lot easier for me to write ML fanfiction with the DVDs. Since I haven't seen Moonlighting in so long, I probably wouldn't be able to characterize anymore! :(

Well, I finally gave in and broke out my tape. I laughed...I cried! It was a truly moving experience.
But seriously folks, I should never watch my rerun, because it only makes me want these DVDs even more. Bert singing Wooly Bully at the end almost sent me over the edge. Seeing ML again makes me realize how much I miss it. :(
