I just saw an episode where Raj asked for 3 bannana splits with extra whip cream and cherries and gave Shirley two dollars and told her to keep the change...and Shirley was excited! Things sure were cheap back in the seventies. Either that or Rob's place was really cheap.

it sure was, reminds me of when james from good times was excited about $4.25 an hour. So i guess the value of dollar was a lot more in 1976

I just saw the episode, on the wall it said that a ham and cheese sandwich was .50 so the bannana splits probably was around .25 You know the desert is always cheaper. I don;t the bannana splits was more than .50
