New DVD Company to Release At Least 3 Rare Sitcoms
If you didn't visit TVShowsonDVD.com yesterday or you missed their news on this following piece, then sit back because this is going to be rare! A new DVD company called S'More Entertainment is going to be releasing three somewhat short lived sitcoms to DVD. The first one they are releasing is Mr. Peepers, a 1952-55 sitcom with Tony Randall, Jack Warden, and Wally Cox as Mr. Peepers, a timid science teacher at a high school. Expect this set October 18.Another sitcom they are releasing is a 1973-74 series starring Dom DeLuise called Lotsa Luck. Dom's character, well, needs a lotta luck after what has happened to him, now living with his mom, sister and her husband. This is expected to be released in mid-November.
Finally, in mid-January we can expect the 1967-68 critically acclaimed sitcom Good Morning, World to be released. Before their was WKRP in Cincinnati, this was the most famous disc jockey show. The show stars Joby Baker, Ronnie Schell and Goldie Hawn. This sitcom came from the people who did The Dick Van Dyke Show, so of course it has to be good! The show actually aired on TNT in reruns back in 1997. MortysTV.com, another friend of ours, has details.
You can read the entire release that our good friends at TVShowsonDVD.com did on these three shows here.
Season premiere of Desperate Housewives tonight at 9/8 central on ABC! Don't be one of the few to miss it!
