FX Acquires Spin City; A&E, The Bio Channel, and GSN Remember Don Adams

FX is adding yet another sitcom to its line-up. First That '70s Show debuted and then Dharma & Greg, now we have learned that Spin City is the next one to land on line-up. And you won't have to wait either! It will start this Sunday (October 2). Sundays 7 to 9 a.m., weekdays at 9-10 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. Spin City just recently left local syndication, so FX has exclusive rights.
In October FX will have a marathon each of the new FOX series Prison Break and a Halloween marathon from the reality series Fear Factor.

A&E and The Biography Channel will both remember the late Don Adams by airing his A&E Biography. Profile of the comic who won a place in TV history when he played the bumbling spy Maxwell Smart in the classic sitcom Get Smart. Adams was a high-school dropout whose service in WWII left him with terrifying memories. But his show-business career led to a fast-paced lifestyle, marriages to a Rockette dancer and a former "Playboy" model, and friendship with "Playboy" mogul Hugh Hefner. Features interviews with Adams, Hefner, and Get Smart co-star Barbara Feldon.
Airings: Thursday, September 28 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on A&E and at 8 p.m (9 pm PT) on The Biography Channel.

And on GSN... Beginning Monday, Oct. 3 from 3:30-4:00 p.m. ET/PT, GSN will be airing a week-long Match Game tribute to legendary actor/comedian Don Adams, who passed away Sunday at the age of 82. GSN will feature some of Adams' funniest appearances as a panelist on the Gene Rayburn-hosted show each day of the week.
